Roses on Ice is a fragrance like a perfectly mixed drink – cool, clear, and seductive. Inspired by the idea of an olfactory interpretation of a gin and tonic, Kilian Hennessy and perfumer Frank Voelkl combine classic botanicals with floral refinement – creating a tribute to the elegance of nighttime bar culture.
The opening is sparklingly fresh: cucumber slices and juniper berries provide an aquatic coolness reminiscent of the first sip of an ice-cold drink. At the heart, the sensual and slightly green rose centifolia unfolds, giving the fragrance a floral core – subtle yet striking.
In the finale, this clear freshness meets soft depth: sandalwood and musk provide a velvety base that gives the fragrance an elegant roundness – like the melting of ice cubes in a glass.
