Hand-picked early in the morning from the small Cananga Odorata trees, delicate yellow-gold flowers that grow only on the islands of Reunion and Comoros, in Zanzibar and Nossi-Bé, are reminiscent of sea anemones, which were often woven into fragrant garlands by the young girls of Tonga.
The intense scent of Ylang Ylang, "the flower of flowers", with its long, stretching
rejuvenating petals and the unmistakably sweet, powdery, floral, intense and radiant smell, is elegantly complemented by a bouquet of frangipani, jasmine as well as orange and tiare flowers.
