Baroness Dudevant, born Amandine Aurore Lucile Dupin in July 1804, is better known by her male pseudonym "George Sand". She became famous as a brilliant writer and embodied the first modern woman as a passionate lover and committed personality. A generous, sensual and floral bouquet with hints of amber reflects the close relationship between George Sand and nature, enriched with intoxicating spices and enlivened by sweet fruits.

Perfumes can tell stories and evoke memories, but Gérald Ghislain, the creator of Histoires de Parfums, goes one step further. He wants to write perfume history and does this by taking personalities from past eras and time periods as inspiration for his fragrances. These people and times have shaped history.

Gérald Ghislain sees every perfume as a wonderful memory, and behind every memory there is a unique story. Originally an adventurer, he lived a diverse life before discovering his passion for perfumes. His fragrance library spans from the 18th century to the present and is dedicated to people who have influenced history.

The bottles and packaging in his collection are reminiscent of books and can be placed like them to create the illusion of book spines. Ghislain gives his perfumes not only a scent story, but also a visual and emotional depth.
