Mined in Italy, Nero Portoro marble has a natural elegance. The color is deep black and light with golden veins. In ancient times, small blocks were mined in the Portovenere area of ​​Italy. In Roman times this marble was used extensively in imperial villas and probably also in the construction of the Temple of Venus at the end of the Gulf of La Spezia.
