This prestigious marble of Belgian origin is black and white. Its bold colors create a sharp contrast that no other marble in common hues offers. It is a tectonic breccia that dates back to the end of the Cretaceous period, 65 million years ago. The quarry was first mined in the Roman period and later in the Byzantine period.
