Lunar Year issues are always popular with collectors, and the ones CIT mints for Mongolia have become annual favorites! The 2023 issue, featuring the "Year of the Rabbit," will celebrate the 7th anniversary of the series. As in years past, there will be three distinct and highly collectible releases - a unique one-ounce silver rabbit-shaped coin, a five-gram silver banknote, and a half-gram gold proof.

The first is struck from one fine silver ounce and features the cute silver bunny as a three-dimensional numismatic sculpture. Look at its cute face and floppy ear. It will make you smile instantly. It is struck in a way that allows it to stand freely on its own two feet, making it an ideal display and conversation piece. It is presented in an elegant collector's box and is limited to just 999 pieces.

The second release features the hare on a highly detailed five gram silver banknote. This particular banknote beautifully showcases the contrast between the different silver finishes as well as the brilliant color that has been masterfully applied. This note carries a face value of 100 Togrog and is limited to just 5,000 pieces. Finally, the hare is proudly presented on a half gram proof quality gold. As a perfect complement to the silver coin and banknote, you will see the image similar to that of the sculpted ounce coin. The hare is surrounded by a highly detailed border and has a mintage of just 5000 pieces.
